Makhba began with Mansi, and an eye for jewellery shaped by a lifetime of wearing, gifting and keeping it. Today it is led by her daughter Khushi, whose pencil begins every Makhba piece.

The eye
The mother, who started Makhba
Makhba began with Mansi. She has always been the person the family calls before buying jewellery: she knows how a piece should sit, what lasts, and what deserves to be kept. She started Makhba to share that instinct beyond her own family, and it remains the legacy in every piece.
The hand
Founder & designer
Khushi leads Makhba today. She draws every design, first on paper and then in 3D, and has grown her mother's idea into a bespoke studio: jewellery made the way her mother always chose it, personal, wearable, and made to be handed down.
Inside the studio
We design for the second, tenth and hundredth time you wear a piece, not just the first photograph.
Hallmarked gold, certified stones and honest construction, so the piece can travel to the next generation.
Nothing is made until you have seen it, changed it and said yes.
In Indian art the parrot rides with Kamadeva, a messenger of the heart. Ours carries your idea to our drawing table.
