Tell us the occasion, the date and what you love. On WhatsApp, on a video call, or over chai at our studio in Chandigarh.
- 02Free revisions
Sketch, then render
Khushi draws your piece by hand, then builds a 3D render so you can see every stone before anything is made. We revise until it is right, at no cost.
- 03Your call
Approve and reserve
You approve the final design and an itemised quote: gold weight, stones, making charges, GST. An advance then reserves your gold at that day's rate.
- 04At the bench
Made by hand
Our karigars set every stone by hand. You get progress photos from the bench, not a tracking number.
- 05The day it's ready
Delivered, hallmarked
BIS hallmarked with HUID, stones certified, insured to your door in India or abroad, in a Makhba box.
How we price
Four lines. No surprises.
Commissions begin at ₹10,000. After you approve the design, an advance locks your gold rate.

Straight answers
How much does a commission cost?
Commissions begin at ₹10,000. The final price depends on gold weight at the day's rate, the stones you choose and the making charges. You get an itemised quote before you pay anything.
How long does it take?
It depends on the piece. You get a firm timeline with your quote, before you pay anything. For weddings we suggest starting about 8 weeks before your first function.
What do I pay upfront?
Nothing until you approve the final design. Then an advance locks your gold rate; the balance is due when the piece is ready.
Do you have an exchange policy?
Yes. Every Makhba piece is covered by our exchange policy, and we walk you through it, in writing, with your quote.
Can you remake my old jewellery?
Yes. That is one of the things we love most. We assess your old gold, credit it at the day's rate, and design something new around the stones and memories you want to keep.
What if I don't like the design?
Then we keep drawing. Revisions to the sketch and render are included, and nothing is made until you say it is right.
Is the gold hallmarked? Are the stones certified?
Every piece is BIS hallmarked with a HUID. Everything we sell is certified, and the certificate comes with your piece.
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes. We design over video calls and ship fully insured to clients abroad. Many of our clients are planning weddings from another time zone.
Can I see a piece in person first?
Of course. Book a studio visit in Chandigarh, or we can bring samples to you for larger bridal commissions.
