The story

A husband wanted rubies for a tenth anniversary, and a wife who wears studs every day. A ruby is a statement on its own; the challenge was to frame it without shouting.

The double halo is set lower at the back, so the earring sits flat against the ear and the ruby faces forward.

We sent the render over video call while she was out of the room. The finished pair travelled to the dinner in a Makhba box.
